from an ongoing series of works highlighting Jade Mikell’s research which compared how migratory birds and disabled bodies navigate climate instability. Primarily, Mikell records spectrograms of migratory birds and transcribes the visual motifs of these vocals into paper, alongside medical data output by her own body which is recorded and transcribed simultaneously.

consistent with Mikell’s practice, this piece is composed entirely of repurposed materials diverted from cycles of disuse, in an effort to mitigate industry waste. As a result, imperfections are to be expected. Please contact the artist with further inquiries about production.
